Maco 2 Hooks 35mm Backset 3/4 lock version 2
The Overall length of the lock faceplate shown (OL: in attatched detailed dimensions file) is simply trimmed down at the ends with a hacksaw to suit the length of your own personal door. Unfortunately Maco have designed this new lock gearing mechanism which drives the connecting teeth that the top and bottom shoot bolt extensions connect to. To work in the opposite direction to the original lock Therefore you will find that you will have to switch the top and bottom shootbolt corners round from top to bottom and bottom to top, so that they will operate in the opposite way. Fortunately the corners shoot bolts are the same length so the lock will fit in the same position as before. You will find that it is easier to lift the door sash of it's hinges and lay it on it's side to easily get to the top and bottom.
