Mila, Coldseal, Swiftframe upvc door locks replacement door lockcase gearbox repairs old style full length locks which have been discontinued.
It is normally the lockcase that fails so by simply changing the old case you will be able to restore your lock to full operation again.
You may find that the faceplate is stamped with either Mila, Coldseal or Swiftframe on the faceplate the door gear is the same and was manufactured by Mila in all cases.
Generally you will find that by replacing the centre gearbox that this is all you have to do.
N:B This is the single spindle version with Latch and Deadbolt The Twin Spindle Version is Discontinued and Stocks are no longer available. However should your door be using the lower spindle from outside on the Twin Spindle Version By replacing your existing handle set (Match the dimensions of the internal handle) and drilling a spindle hole to line through with the internal spindle you will find that you will be able to use the top spindle hole from both inside & Outside. N:B: You will find that the door will operate exactly the same from both the inside and outside and you will find that you no longer need to use a key outside to disengage the latch on entry. The door will dead lock exactly the same as before
